For who knows them better than you? The Landeskunde portal LEO-BW already contains many historical and some contemporary illustrations documenting the architectural heritage of the German Southwest. But these motifs from archives, libraries and museums are far from covering the entire country in its cultural diversity. Only with your help and local knowledge can we change that gradually. Upstream, the map of Baden-Württemberg should be filled with pictures and contributions from our BaWü explorers. Have you discovered an exciting / interesting building near you or on an excursion? A historic factory site, a small, at first glance inconspicuous church or simply a building that makes up the character of your place? Or an architectural detail that inspires you? Maybe a specific city view? Then enter the location in the BW card and take a picture of it. Write a few lines about what's remarkable about the subject or what your personal relationship with the place or object is. The app is not just about capturing the already well-known sights, but also the (supposedly) ordinary on your own doorstep. The app offers the opportunity to share your favorite places with others and to get in touch with them. We will gradually make the app's contributions accessible via the LEO-BW portal. Doch decken diese Motive aus Archiven, Bibliotheken und Museen bei weitem nicht das ganze Land in seiner kulturellen Vielfalt ab. Nur mit Deiner Hilfe und Ortskenntnis können wir das nach und nach ändern. Landauf landab soll sich die Karte von Baden-Württemberg mit Bildern und Beiträgen unserer BaWü-EntdeckerInnen füllen.
Du hast ein spannendes/interessantes Bauwerk in Deiner Nähe oder bei einem Ausflug entdeckt? Ein historisches Fabrikgelände, eine kleine, auf den ersten Blick unscheinbare Kirche oder einfach ein Gebäude, das den Charakter Deines Ortes ausmacht? Oder ein architektonisches Detail, das Dich begeistert? Vielleicht auch eine bestimmte Stadtansicht? Dann trage den Ort in der BW-Karte ein und mache ein Foto davon. Schreibe ein paar Zeilen dazu, was es Bemerkenswertes zu dem Motiv zu sagen gibt oder was Deine persönliche Beziehung zu dem Ort oder Objekt ist. In der App geht es nicht nur darum, die ohnehin schon bekannten Sehenswürdigkeiten einzufangen, sondern auch das (vermeintlich) Gewöhnliche vor der eigenen Haustür.
